Welcome to ICEEMS'19

ICEEMS is an International conference on Energy, Environment, Materials & Safety jointly organized by the Divisions of Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Safety & Fire Engineering of School of Engineering, CUSAT under TEQIP Phase – III. ICEEMS‘19 will be held during April 25-27,2019, at CUSAT campus. It is proposed to have several parallel sessions with invited keynote lectures by eminent academicians and experts from various fields.

Energy security, Economic growth, and Environment protection are the national energy policy drivers of any country. The increased production and consumption in energy sector lead to high levels of pollution and eventually climate change with possible disastrous consequences. At the same time, the energy needs to be made available at an acceptable cost in order to avoid negative impacts on economic growth. Hence it is the time to address the important aspects of energy and environment with a holistic approach. Reasearch on materials is expected to play a prominent role in the development of sustainable technologies for energy conversion, storage, and savings. ICEEMS'19 offers a common platform to share and discuss the emerging trends in the above fields. This is the second edition of ICEEMS, the first being ICEEMS'14 which was a grand success.
